Clearing the Air With a CleanEffects™ System
Indoor air pollutants are a top five environmental health risk. In fact, your indoor air can be up to five times more contaminated than outdoor air. You can ventilate your Ringgold, GA, home and improve indoor air quality by opening doors and windows. However, this is not always possible if the weather doesn’t allow it. An air cleaner is a great solution for tackling contaminants, and the Trane CleanEffects™ system is unlike any other.
How the CleanEffects System Works
The CleanEffects system has a pre-filter that traps large particles from the air as it circulates through your HVAC system. A field charger produces numerous electronically charged corona fields that allow it to collect small particles. Each collection element is only 0.08 inch apart, and the corona fields alternate in between. This allows the system to target particles that are as small as 0.10 micron. In addition, the patented filter doesn’t become clogged and has eight times the collection surface of other air cleaners.
The CleanEffects system integrates seamlessly with your central air conditioning system to provide whole-house comfort throughout the year. Its superior air-cleaning capability helps to improve air conditioning and heating performance, too.
Benefits of a CleanEffects System
Standard air cleaners are limited in the types and number of contaminants they can capture. They are also likely to become clogged quickly, which can eventually hinder airflow. Restricted airflow causes pressure to drop and prevents your HVAC system from effectively circulating air throughout your home. The CleanEffects system, however, has the highest efficiency, does not restrict airflow, and delivers cleaner air more consistently than standard units.
The CleanEffects System can also eliminate up to 99.98 percent of airborne allergens, reducing asthma and other respiratory triggers. The system removes dust, dust mites, pollen, bacteria, fungus, lint, and pet hair and dander. In fact, it’s up to eight times as effective as HEPA room filters in improving indoor air quality.
