Preventative Maintenance Agreement Membership
Our Preventative Maintenance Agreement Membership from Dalton Heating & Air include seasonal checkups for your air conditioning and heating systems. By enrolling in the program, you'll automatically receive two maintenance visits every year. We will visit once for in the fall for a heating inspection, and once in the spring for a cooling inspection.
With out Preventative Maintenance Agreement Membership, We will perform a comprehensive set of tasks to ensure your cooling system operates properly and efficiently. Similarly, our service technicians will conduct thorough heating maintenance.
These spring checks and calibrations include:
- Checking the operating pressure
- Checking voltages and amperages
- Checking the temperature drop across the evaporator
- Checking the refrigerant charge
- Checking the evaporator superheat
- Lubricating all moving parts
- Checking the belt and adjusting the tension
- Checking all of the filters
- Checking the pressure switch settings
- Checking the electrical lock-out circuits
- Checking the starting contactor
- Checking all of the wiring and connections
- Checking and adjusting the thermostat
- Checking the air temperature across the condenser
- Checking that the condensate drain is open
The fall checks and calibrations include:
- Checking and adjusting the thermostat
- Cleaning and adjusting all of the safety controls
- Cleaning the burners and the controls
- Cleaning and adjusting the pilot Assembly
- Adjusting the burner for efficiency
- Checking for gas leaks in the furnace
- Lubricating all moving parts
- Checking all filters
- Checking the belt and adjusting the tension
- Checking the condition of the flue pipe
- Adjusting the pressure regulator
- Checking the wiring and connections
- Checking the voltages and the amperages
- Checking the heat exchanger for cracks
- Checking the performance of the heating system
